What services do you provide?
We provide psychology and behaviour support services, including therapy, cognitive and functional assessments, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), behaviour support plans, capacity building, and parent/carer support. We also offer NDIS-related reporting and collaboration with other professionals.
Do I need a referral to access services?
No referral is required to access behaviour support or make general enquiries—you can contact us directly.
If you are accessing services through the NDIS, we can also work with your plan and support coordinator where applicable.
For psychology services, a referral from your GP (Mental Health Care Plan) is required if you wish to access Medicare rebates.
Are your services covered by NDIS?
Yes, services may be funded under the NDIS depending on your plan, particularly under Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living and Improved Relationships.
We can also help you understand your funding if you are unsure.
What is Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)?
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is an evidence-based approach that focuses on understanding the reasons behind behaviours of concern and developing practical strategies to support positive change, skill development, and improved quality of life.
What happens in a psychology session?
Sessions are tailored to your individual needs and goals. They may include talking therapy, skill-building, emotional regulation strategies, or structured interventions depending on your presentation.
Do you offer cognitive or psychological assessments?
Yes, we provide cognitive and functional assessments where appropriate. These help to better understand strengths, needs, and support requirements, and can inform therapy or support planning.
How long are sessions?
Sessions typically run for 50 minutes, although this may vary depending on the service type, particularly for assessments or report-related work.
Do you work with children, adolescents, and adults?
Yes, we provide services for children, adolescents, and adults, depending on individual needs and suitability.
Do you involve families or support networks?
Yes, where appropriate we work collaboratively with families, carers, schools, and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective support.
What is your approach to therapy and support?
